Students, Scouts and Service Clubs
Students of all ages can come to our Drop-In Days or Hands Across the County Days to fulfill their class community service requirement. We also welcome scout projects and service clubs. Have fun, learn some, and get a lot accomplished..then come back again to see how your work has grown!

Special for Horticulture students at Santa Rosa Junior College: Hallberg Butterfly Gardens offers a sponsored internship each semester. For more info, contact Bev Henningsen in the work experience office (707-527-4604).

A Volunteer

Hands Across the County
The Volunteer Center of Sonoma County hosts Hands Across the County days periodically throughout the year. Thanks to them, we have had some wonderful work days and met some great new friends. Check out their website for dates and more information.

Docents
Volunteer docents add incredible value to our visitors' experience, especially for the 1st and 2nd graders who are learning about butterflies and life cycles in their classrooms. If you would enjoy leading small groups through the garden and teaching about butterflies, we would love to have you onto our team.
