What we offer.
The Gardens are nine acres of winding pathways open to the public by appointment from April to October (garden workdays continue year-round). We offer tours, events, plant sales, workshops, garden workdays, and educational resources! Hours of operation vary depending on the type of appointment.

Garden Amenities
Gate code is required to enter the gardens except for special events such as plant sales.
Plant identification: Spring 2024 we will install plant signs associated with our self-guided brochure and plant lists from our Printables page. You can also view our online database with photo references!
Trails are dirt paths and not certified as wheelchair accessible. The entrance and picnic area/restrooms are covered in pressed gravel. Shallow bumps and holes may appear with gopher activity. We work to improve accessibility each year.
Benches are located along the garden trails.
Picnic tables are located near the information kiosk.
Drinking water is NOT provided.
Parking is limited—public parking is available for excess cars or large vehicles. Carpooling encouraged.

We are open by appointment except for one Sunday in June during our Annual Open Gardens Day.
Pricing: Most events are free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
A Gate code may be required to enter the gardens for events with an appointment.

Tours

Open by appointment
Self-Guided Tours April - October, Wednesday - Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm.
Guided Tours are available for groups of 10 or more from April to June; days and hours vary (visit the Public Tours or School Resource page for details).
A Gate code is required to enter the gardens.
The tour duration is between 60 - 90 minutes.
All Tours are donation-based; we suggest $2-5 per child, $10 per adult, and $7 for Seniors and Students
We love your pets, but please leave them at home.
The Gift Shop will remain closed until further notice. A fold-out Butterfly guide is for sale at our information kiosk ($10). Book sales are available during plant sales and Open Gardens Day!

Donations

All Tours are donation-based; we suggest $2 to $5 per child, $10 per adult, and $7 for Seniors and Students. Most events are donation-based. The suggested donation amount varies per event.
We accept Donations at any time, onsite or online.
Onsite: Cash, Check, Venmo, Card.

We have regular Garden Workdays every Tuesday and one Saturday a month from 9 am to 12 pm.
