Books & Barns is a new literary reading series featuring writers sharing their best work in barns, shacks, along the backroads, on top of rocks and occasionally from a gaggle of canoes on the river when the season is right. Our first event will kick off in the historic barn and orchard at Hallberg Butterfly Gardens. Come spend an afternoon listening to story, poetry, & music. 

Books & Barns first reading will be featuring Mahea Campbell, Wana Shue, Tomas Moniz, Jess D. Taylor, Kelly Gray and Dani Burlison. The lovelies of Sorry Not Sorry (Lorelle Saxena and Ursa Born) will be playing their magic music after the reading. The butterfly sanctuary will be popping- if you haven’t been, it’s a special place where insects, critters, and people intersect.

This event is Free, and Registration is not Required.

See you then! Doors open at 530, and the reading begins at 6 p.m.
